·Annual Campaign: work to raise the annual funds needed to fund service projects and commitments to the ROTARY/One Foundation and the Rotary Foundation of Rotary International.
·Fellowship and Networking: determine locations for Third Thursday Rotary After Hours, manage the Friday Roundtable and other fellowship events as desired, including the annual sailing reception, annual Halloween Party and annual Holiday Party at the end of the calendar year.
·Finance: work with treasurer on establishing and monitoring the annual budget and club finances.
·Higher Thought: seek members for weekly inspiration thoughts for the opening of official meetings.
·Membership Recruitment, Orientation and Retention: coordinate the recruitment, orientation and engagement of members.
·Programs: recruit and schedule speakers / programs / tours for all official meetings, both After Work and luncheons.
·Public Relations: develop and implement opportunities for club public / media relations
Humanitarian Service: Annually the board establishes a budget for each of the service committees. All projects and grants are determined by those committees.
·Community Service: decision, implementation of local grants and hands on projects in Chicagoland.
·History and Heritage: Paul Harris Home, ROTARY/One Archives.
·JOB1: development and implementation of the annual signature project to give high school junior and seniors their first job in a summer internship.
·International Service: decision, implementation of exchanges, missions, grants and projects with other Rotary Clubs, nonprofits, NGOs around the world.
